At the end of our 2 days City & Guilds accredited Risk Assessment Train the Trainer course, you will be able to train other people who have little or no knowledge or experience in health and safety in basic risk assessment techniques. We provide you with the assessment materials including a risk assessment format.
There are no prerequisites to attend this training. This course is suitable for beginners, up to experienced practitioners. We incorporate all levels of experience within the training.

To enable the candidate to carry out their own courses to train others to carry out effective risk assessments in compliance with the relevant regulations.
The attendee will receive a City & Guilds Profile of Achievement Award & National Training Services Instructor Certification valid for 3 years. After which a 1 day Refresher Course is recommended.
Our open courses are held at our training center Unit 1, Adams House, Northampton Science Park, Kings Park Road, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN3 6LG.

There is no written paper but the trainees will be assessed on the practical element.
The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training. On day two the candidate will carry out a practical training session on which they will be assessed.

This course embraces the requirements under The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 1998) and covers selection, mounting and the safe use of abrasive wheels. The machines we discuss are the angle grinder, chop saw, petrol cutter (Stihl Saw) and bench grinders. This course is suitable for beginners up to experienced practitioners.
