Are there any prerequisites?

No, there are no prerequisites for attending any of our training courses, we will work with you to ensure you are happy with your training before you leave us. Our trainer courses are inclusive, in that they cater for trainers at all levels and stages of development. Every delegate brings fresh ideas and views which benefit the whole group dynamic.

Where are your courses held?

Our open courses are held at our training center Unit 1, Adams House, Northampton Science Park, Kings Park Road, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN3 6LG or Online via Zoom. We can also bring our training to you, Nationwide. Contact us for a free of charge quotation.

Can you deliver training at my premises?

Yes, we can deliver training at your premises, Nationwide throughout the UK. Please contact us for a free of charge quotation. Our training can also be tailor to suit your specific training requirements.

How long is my course?

Train the Trainer courses and Level 2 Introduction to Trainer Skills are 2 days long, per course.  Level 3 Award in Education & Training is 5 days plus 30 hours of assignments. Refresher training is 1 day. Operative training is 4 hours plus pre-course and post course workbook. 

How quickly can I deliver training?

You will have everything you need to deliver your specific subject as soon as you leave the course, including all materials, powerpoint, hand outs and trainers manual. You can start training right away.

When do I receive my certificate?

Certificates will be applied for at the end of day 2 after successful completion of your course. Please note they can take anywhere from 7-14 days to arrive to us, at which point we will forward them on to you. The trainer can start training right away. If you have not received them within 1 month, please contact us.

How long is my certificate valid for?

Your Train the Trainer certificate is valid for 3 years, at which point we strongly recommend a 1 day refresher training course. During which you will receive all the latest materials, updated certificate and continued on-going support from us.

Do you do refresher training?

Yes, we offer 1 day refresher training to all NTS delegates. If your original course was not delivered by us, you will need to attend the full 2 day train the trainer course.

What certification will I receive?

For our train the trainer courses you will receive a City & Guilds Profile of Achievement 3791 and a NTS Trainer's certificate. Training skills only courses will receive the corresponding Level 2 or Level 3 City & Guilds certificates.

What certificates will I be able to issue?

Once you have completed your train the trainer course, you will be supplied with a blank certificate template so that you can create your own in-house certificates, which you can add your own company logo to. You must ensure your name as the trainer is on the certificate and that you have a valid instructor certificate when delivering. 

Do I have to attend both days?

Yes. Regardless of your current experience in training or your chosen course subject, you must be in attendance for both days of the training course in order to qualify for the City & Guilds Profile of Achievement award. If you only need refresher training, please contact us to discuss your options. 

I'm ready, how do I book?

Wonderful news, please complete the booking form or drop us an email at info@ntstraining.co.uk with the details of the course you would like to join. Remember to review our terms & conditions. We will confirm your booking via email and will send you an invoice and the course joining instructions, including travel details and local hotel information. We look forward to seeing you soon.

How can I pay for my course?

Once we have received your booking form, we will send you an invoice for your course which is due for payment prior to course commencement. Payment can be made via BACs or cheque. We often complete new supplier forms for our clients, so please email them through to us and we will complete and return them to you promptly. 

I've lost my trainer materials, what can I do?

Your materials are sent to you online on the second day of your course. You must ensure that you download and save them some where safe.

If you have lost your trainer materials NTS will provide replacement materials up to 1 year after the date of your course. Contact us to advise you require replacements.

After 1 year you will need to attend a 1 day refresher course.
